As the calendar’s page turn from May to June, a huge chapter of my life closes as well. It’s one of the most memorable chapters of my life, more than three years in the making, and one that bore witness to my huge transformation—from a regular office folk to a sports and health enthusiast!

May is practically over, I know, but I just had my hands on a copy of the May issue of MultiSport Philippines.
So what’s so special about this issue? Well nothing really, it’s just nice to see myself along with some other friends inside this issue, but this time around I’m seen not as a runner, but a blogger! Needless to say I really need to get back into running as I’m seen more often during media launches than races!
Weather I like it or not, June is just around the corner, and that’s when I should start my “training.”

It’s been so long since I last ran that I didn’t even realize that my GF405 had “died!” It was one of those moments that I never thought would happen as I always used my GF to run and always noticed that it’s running out of batteries. Now I only use my GF during races (which I seldom do lately) and group runs with friends—for everything else my BB with Endomondo would suffice.
Well hopefully we get back some good weather soon to shake off some of this gloomy, lazy aura.
Finally, another major local TV network took notice of sports, or the insufficiency thereof, in the country and decided to promote active lifestyle. I’m referring to TV5’s latest primetime sports block, AKTV (read “active”).
Slimmers World will be having its fun run, “SlimmeRun 2011,” at Bonifacio Global City attended by the reigning Miss Bikini Philippines beauties. Here are the event particulars:
San Beda College Alabang Alumni Association has embarked on setting a fun run entitled “Takbo para sa Iskolar” at Filinvest Alabang, Muntinlupa for the benefit of Bernadette Chua Scholarship Foundation. Here are the details:
